64 kbit/s Listening Test, File Selection Page

This page randomly selects one of the twelve files used for the 64 kbit/s Listening Test. These zipfiles average about 8 MB. Use the random selector if you can; otherwise, you can select from the direct links below. Refresh the page to have another file randomly selected for you.

Make sure you've already downloaded the practice test and that you've familiarized yourself with the operation of the ABC/HR application.

Unzip each archive into the same parent directory you unzipped the practice archive into. Execute the "encdec_xxxxx.bat" file to create the WAV files you'll need to perform the test, fire up abchr.exe, and load the appropriate configuration file.

You can try any or all of these samples. In fact, you're encouraged to submit results from as many of these files as you can. Email your results to me at miyaguch at eskimo dot com
